Sub-machine guns (continued)

Ingram Model 10

Ingram Model 10

Caliber: .45 ACP

Barrel length: 146 mm

Weight: 3.818 kg with loaded 30 round magazine

Magazine: 30-round box

session 4 Gateway Shuffle

This has been tentatively identified by Sean & Kevin as Ingram MAC-10's chambered either for 9mm or.45 ACP.
The Ingram is one of the smallest and compact SMG's around. It also has one of the highest rate of fire for a sub-machine gun (1145 rounds per minute) which balances the Ingram's poor accuracy beyond close-range engagements.
Without the original patented Sionics Company sound suppressor (or what many laymen know incorrectly as silencers) attached and the folding stock in the folded position, the Ingram is only 269mm long.
Of note in the cap taken is the way the weapon is held by both gunners. The foreground gunner chose to hold the Ingram in the usual position (risky considering the close proximity the hot barrel is to his fingers) while the background gunner uses the forward hand-strap as a rudimentary foregrip.
The Ingram is the weapon of choice for Maria Twinkle's gang in session 4 Gateway Shuffle.
