Many thanks to Brian + who has positively identified the assault rifles seen above from session 13 Jupiter Jazz part 2. They are H&K G36E's.
It is the standard rifle for the German Bundeswehr and recently the Spanish army as well.
The G36 features a folding skeleton stock, an optical sight backed up by a red-dot sight in the E variant mounted on the carrying handle and a forward-mounted magazine, all in a straight-line layout. It fires the NATO standard 5.56x45 mm round.
