Store hold-up guns (Continued)
the baddie Jet dispatches is using an archaic revolver!!? correct me if i'm wrong but it looks like a Webley-Fosberry.

Steven Tran-Creque is positive "the revolver used is almost assuredly an S&W Model 27, the classic full size fram .357 Magnum revolver.

The reciever is exactly the right shape, the underbarrel spring is in the right place, and the sights match up. I've attached a picture of one, and I'm pretty sure you'll see what I mean. It definitely cant't be a Webley or a Trooper Mk; the recievers just aren't in the right shape or other bits either aren't present or look wrong (Webley barrel doesn't match up; Colt Trooper's barrel is in line with the top of the reciever, unlike the gun drawn in the movie; etc).

...(Good point, Steven).

As for the guy Spike smashes into the donut case, I'd say it's definitely a 1911 variant of some sort, and assumably a shorter barreled version. I don't have the DVD, though, and it's fairly hard to pick out such a nondescript gun from the one screen cap on your site. Doubly so with the granny hostage guy."

So it appear the gang's boss is using an S&W Model 39, the sunglasses perp VERY LIKELY an S&W Model 27 while the other two goons are using either Colt-Government's or Browning Hi-Power's.

In a wayyy earlier mail…(doesn't hurt to have a second opinion):

Pablo Taccir spent a lot of time determining the type of guns used in the hold up sequence in the beginning of KOHD. He asserts that the revolver in the store is either a Schofield 1875 or a Swiss Decre of 1889 32. Calibre. (Why would they be using archaic museum pieces?)

A month later he sends a mail where he says that the revolver is not a Webley Fosberry but a Colt Trooper Mk3 (below). Meanwhile, he says the other guy, dunno who he's referring to either the leader, the black guy with glasses or the grandma-holding perp wields a Colt 1911 Combat Commander or a 1911 Officers pistol (bottom).
