Glock 30
Faye packs a mean pistol beneath a maternity dress

Glock 30

Caliber: .45 ACP

Length: 6.77 inches

Barrel length: 3.78 inches

Weight: 23.99oz

Capacity: 10 + 1 in chamber

Faye uses a Glock 30, just one in a long line of Glock pistols. Glock pistols are instantly recognizable due to their distinct shape and polymer construction.
The Glock 30 is a chambered for the .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) round, in my opinion a rather suprising choice because the .45 ACP has been around for almost a century now and in the year 2071, it would be more than 160 years old.
I guess Faye chose the weapon because of the renowned reputation of the .45  caliber round as a man stopper and because the pistol is light and compact (Yup, its got to be when it has to fit into her jacket, or if she isn't wearing the jacket, then the hot pants).

look carefully & you can see 'Austria 45 auto' on the slide
opps! wrong guy Faye! ^_^
mess with me and i'll put a .45 cal slug right between the eyes punk! ^_^

You may wonder after reaching this part, if there is such a large variety of firearms in use and since the Bebop gang seem to be outgunned and outnumbered most of the times, how come they don't carry automatic weapons instead? Good question.
In the bounty hunters line of work, Spike and company have to perform a lot of detective work and thus have to blend in with the crowd so as not to spook their prey. This means being inconspicuous and not looking like you were loaded for bear!
Spike's mafia past, Faye's street smart attitude and Jet's police background belie the fact that they are actually expert marksmen in their own right enabling them to handle anything that comes their way despite often being outgunned and outnumbered by the opposition.
