Walther P99
hmm...what's behind the door?

Walther P99

Caliber: 9 x 19 mm

Length: 7.08 inches

Barrel length: 4.015 inches

Weight: 875.06 g

Capacity: 16 + 1 in chamber

Jet initially had me scratching my head trying to figure out what type of pistol he preferred. My task was not made easy because I only had one gun book to refer to and a lot of the scenes where Jet actually toted a gun the weapon was hidden or too little frames were included in the scene, making the weapon difficult to identify.
Anyway, Jet-to san likes to use Walther products, specifically a Walther P99. The P99 is a German made semi-auto with a lot of safeties built into it. Jet seems to be the only one to use a pistol tailor made to 21st century specifications. Same like the Faye's Glock, the P99 has a polymer frame, but it is not parkerised. I'm not sure what caliber Jet likes his guns to be in because the P99 comes in 9 x 19 mm  Parabellum, .40 Smith & Wesson, .45 ACP & .380 ACP. I'm guessing 9 mm to maintain standardization with Spike's Jericho. In the 9 x19 mm caliber the P99 can hold 16 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber.
Someone commented that the caps below don't fit the profile of a P99. He may be right but could also be the result of the animators getting lazy or sloppy. After all can't expect them to get it 100% all the time.

Mr Chris Jover had this to add on Jet's gun of choice:

"I think jet's gun might be a Walther P22, although some of the screencaps do look like he uses a P99 (sometimes it looks smaller = P99, sometimes looks bigger = P22) so maybe he uses both."

He could be right because from my own observations, the gun's size and profile changes sometimes from session to session.
